Advanced Art

Objectives

NSA 1 - 1. TLW work independently using one or more media areas.

NSA 5 - 2. TLW set up a time table for which contracted work should be completed.

NSA 5 - 3. TLW make written and oral critical judgments of their own work.

NSA 1, 2, 3 - 4. TLW develop a ten piece portfolio of completed, properly presented artwork that can be used for colleges to receive scholarships.

NSA 2 - 5. TLW complete a collection of sketches which may be used as a basis for projects.

NSA 1, 2, 3, - 6. TLW demonstrate competency in the chosen media.

NSA 1, 2, 3 - 7. TLW identify the cultural impact of artwork created within their chosen mediums.

NSA 5 - 8. TLW choose a work of art that he/she can relate to and create a work of art about his/her own experiences.

NSA 1, 2, 3 -  9. TLW create and discuss artworks that  illustrate themes.
